BORT BC-2 Charger (Updated Version)
The updated version of the BORT BC-2 charger is a technically advanced solution for fast and safe charging of high-current Li-Ion batteries of the Bort ReX 18V series and compatible Makita LXT batteries.
The key change is the introduction of active cooling (fan) in addition to massive radiators - aimed at increasing the reliability, stability of output parameters and durability of the device in professional conditions. The adaptive algorithm guarantees a full charge of the battery while maintaining its resource. Purpose: Slider charger for Li-Ion batteries of the Bort ReX 18V platforms and compatible Makita 18V LXT batteries* (*Note: Not compatible with original Makita batteries due to differences in BMS communication protocols).

Bort ReX series 18V: BA-21Li, BA-21U, BA-21U-62, BA-21U-63, BA-21U-93 (9.0 Ah)
Adaptive charging algorithm:
Maximum charging current: 4 A.
Implements a multi-stage charging scheme (CC/CV) with a final phase of low-current charging.
When the battery capacity reaches 90-95%, the charging current is automatically reduced. This ensures a full (100%) charge of the battery.
Reduced thermal stress of battery elements at the final stage.
Advanced thermal management system:
Built-in cooling fan (new): Added for active heat dissipation from the interior of the charger housing.
Massive aluminum radiators: Integrated into the control board (BMS) for effective passive heat dissipation from the power components and controller.
