The "kamacco" is a one-cup earthenware pot unique to Tsukamoto, boasting exceptional design. Experience the delicious, fluffy texture of rice that's different from a traditional rice cooker. Cooking rice in an earthenware pot brings out the rice's sweetness and produces fluffy, perfectly cooked rice. While metal pots tend to heat up and cool quickly, earthenware pots are known for their slow cooking time. We've created a mini one-cup earthenware pot for easy use. Enjoy a slower pace of life with an earthenware pot that will make your everyday rice even more delicious.

*Do not cook empty. Do not heat the earthenware pot when there is moisture on the outside (especially the bottom). Use on low (lowest) heat. Wash thoroughly and seal the pores before use. (To seal the pores, pour rice water into the pot up to the inside edge, boil for about 10 minutes, leave to cool, and then air-dry overnight in a well-ventilated area.)
*When using for the first time, please check that there are no cracks or chips on the pot itself or the inner and outer lids. After use, wash by hand, wipe off any excess water, and allow to dry thoroughly before storing. Storing the pot while it is not sufficiently dry may result in stains or mold.
