New Magnumlite Spool: A new design for a light, strong, "flying" spool with holes on the sides. The spool's moment of inertia determines the casting performance of a baitcasting reel. To reduce this moment of inertia, development has focused on blanking and thinning the spool body diameter. With the New Magnumlite Spool, we've succeeded in blanking the sides of the spool, something that was previously considered technically impossible. This has resulted in a significant increase in casting distance.
NEW SVS INFINITY: Wide range of adjustments possible with external dial. The next-generation centrifugal brake has evolved even further. The NEW SVS INFINITY is a centrifugal brake, but it offers a wide range of brake adjustments that can be used in almost any situation, simply by adjusting the external dial. If you leave all four brake shoes engaged while casting, there is no need to adjust the internal brake shoes. When more precise settings are required, you can make fine adjustments with the internal brake shoes. (The product ships with all four brake shoes engaged.) Durability has also been greatly improved.
