Loctite 401 adhesive is designed for bonding difficult-to-bond surfaces that require uniform stress transfer and/or shear strength.
Benefits of use
• Quick bonding of plastics, metals and rubbers
• Additionally bonds porous materials - paper, leather, fabrics and wood
• Low viscosity
• With a primer, bonding of low-energy materials is possible

Instructions for use
1. For best results, clean and degrease all surfaces with Loctite 7063 remover. Thorough degreasing is crucial for proper bonding of the elements.
2. When bonding low-energy plastics, use Loctite Primer before applying the adhesive and wait for it to dry.
3. If it is necessary to use an activator, apply it to one of the surfaces.
4. Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces (do not apply it to the surface on which the activator was applied).
5. Press the bonded elements and hold until the adhesive hardens.
6. The adhesive hardens fully after 24-72 hours. Do not subject the joint to full loads until then.
Store in a dry and cool place. Recommended temperature is from +2ºC to 8°C. Before use, warm the product to ambient temperature. Optimal conditions for use are 22°C and 50% relative humidity. Storage outside the recommended temperature range may irreversibly change the properties of the product.
