The vertically flattened body, inherited from the Gekka Bijin Sword Beam 1.7 inch, creates excellent straight-line swimming performance and a quick, sharp darting action that attracts fish. The slightly firm material also contributes to a well-defined action that contrasts between stillness and movement. When retrieved steadily, it minimizes unnecessary action, making it effective for finicky rockfish. When action is added, the swordtail strongly displaces water, inducing reaction bites. ＜Hook hole protrusion＞ The body has a protrusion on the back for a hook hole.
