A long-selling product by Takara Tomy that has been on the market for over 40 years. The original model was the 1959 release of 'Plastic Train Rail Set,' which was played with by rolling it by hand. Since then, improvements have been made to make assembly easier and to prevent malfunctions, but the basic model has not undergone a major change. In the 1960s, a three-car train set with a built-in small motor was released, and even now, a three-car train is the standard.
