KATO N Gauge 223 Series 2000 Series Special Rapid Service Set Model Train 8-Car 10-1899

The V42 (4-car set) and W33 (8-car set) trains belonging to the Aboshi General Rolling Stock Depot in 2020 are the prototypes. The front of the car body and the shape of the skirt are accurately reproduced. The paintwork of the front window frames is also reproduced. In addition, the wipers installed on the windows of the gangway doors are represented. The model accurately reproduces details such as the steps below the crew door and the toilet tank. The front fall prevention bellows are reproduced as separate parts. The adoption of a slotless motor achieves even smoother and quieter running performance. The 4-car set does not have traction tires, as it is designed for coupled operation. All couplings use body-mounted close-coupling couplers (without hooks). An electrical connector (single stage) that can be attached to the coupler at the front of the leading car is included. The side destination and train type displays are reproduced in plain black.
