The COLOR-SKOPAR 18mm F2.8 Aspherical X-mount lens has a field of view equivalent to 28mm in full-frame terms, and its optical design is optimized for the image sensors of Fujifilm X system cameras. Equipped with electronic contacts, the combination of a telecommunications-enabled body and the latest firmware enables Exif information, focus check, and shooting distance-linked display, and in certain models, in-body image stabilization. This lens's angle of view is equivalent to 28mm, a popular wide-angle lens since the days of 35mm film cameras, making it ideal for snapshots. While ensuring excellent optical performance through the use of double-sided aspherical lenses and anomalous partial dispersion glass, it achieves a compact pancake style overall. With a total length of just 23.5mm from the mount, it is highly portable, and its minimal protrusion from the camera body makes it easy to take out of and put into a bag. The minimum focusing distance is 0.17m. The focus ring on the lens controls is equipped with a lever with a comfortable grip, improving operability and allowing you to know the approximate distance set by the lever's position without having to look at the distance indicator. The aperture blades feature a 10-blade configuration designed with bokeh in mind, and have 1/3 stop clicks. The aperture mechanism, like Voigtländer's VM mount and mirrorless mount lenses, employs a system where the aperture ring directly controls the opening and closing of the aperture blades. Along with the satisfying feel of manual focusing, where the entire lens group extends within the all-metal barrel, you can also enjoy the tactile feedback of directly operating the mechanism when opening and closing the aperture. A dedicated dome-shaped screw-in lens hood (black finish) is included.
