If your kitchen knife is not sharp enough, rubbing the blade lightly with this product may temporarily improve its sharpness. Instructions for use Place the leather strop on a flat, stable surface. As shown in the diagram below, position the knife at a 40-45° angle to the leather strop, and adjust the blade tip to the appropriate angle for both double-edged and single-edged blades. Rub only in the direction of the back of the knife (the spine of the blade), and move in one direction only. (Do not rub back and forth.) Rub the entire edge of the blade in several passes.
