The Panther tank chassis was used to develop the Panther V, a replacement for the Möbelwagen and Wirvelwend.
A Panther D chassis with a turret mounted with two parallel 3.7cm machine guns was considered.
However, once a mockup of the turret was produced, it was determined that the 3.7cm guns were not powerful enough, and the project was scrapped.
This kit is precisely and accurately modeled.
