This kit combines two base plates and two 15mm rod clamps. It's designed for heavy cameras. The base plate securely attaches to the tripod plate using 1/4" and 3/8" screws, preventing slippage and wobble. The base plate features an industry-standard 15mm rod clamp, allowing for use with rod systems. Attaching accessories such as follow focuses, lens supports, and matte boxes to these rods enhances videography. The camera mount can be adjusted 40mm forward or backward, allowing for balanced mounting even on heavier cameras. The ratchet-type thumbscrew on the rod clamp allows for quick changes to the rig system. The rods are securely fastened to the clamp, preventing slippage and wobble. Even if the knob interferes with the screw, you can tighten it by simply turning the knob. Made from a highly corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, it will resist rust even with extended use.
