They are compatible with the versatile IG connector (open barrel) as well as closed-type plug terminals like the Bosch M3 commonly used in German vehicles. However, if you are using silicone wires with diameters of 8.0mm or larger, we recommend the LY-2048 KV8.5 crimping pliers. The double-layered, non-slip handle makes continuous work less tiring. Precision-cast dies with a safe, smooth finish with no sharp edges. The dies have clearly marked crimping areas for specific sizes, allowing for precise crimping of each size. HS-QC Series Die Exchange Type Quick dies can be replaced. Note: There is no crimp mark. For plug cables with a long diameter of 8.5 mm, such as MSD's "Super Conductor" spark plug wire or MAGNECOR's "KV8.5" plug cord, please consider using LY-2048.
