General Knowledge
The primary function of antibiotics is to destroy disease-causing microorganisms.
Unfortunately, antibiotics also destroy parts of the protective intestinal mucosa and damage natural, healthy gut bacteria.
This allows dangerous microorganisms and their toxins to multiply rapidly, potentially causing severe diarrhea, known as antibiotic-associated diarrhea.
Furthermore, each dose of antibiotics reduces the diversity of bacterial strains in the gut.
However, for the gut to perform its various functions without restriction (e.g., breaking down, absorbing, and forming nutrients, producing immune cells, and providing energy),
it requires a highly diverse gut bacteria population.
How to consume
Ideally, OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 should not be taken together with an antibiotic, but at least 1 hour before or after.
Children up to 3 years of age take half the dosage.
OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 should preferably be taken on an empty stomach.
For twice daily applications, taking before breakfast and before the evening meal is recommended.
If you suffer from fructose intolerance, you should prolong the activation time to at least 30 minutes.
During this time the bacteria metabolize the entire fructooligosaccharides.
Therefore no fructose gets into the intestine.
1) How to take when to take
During the whole period of antibiotic therapy, stir 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® 10 AAD (= 5 g) twice daily into approx.
1/8 l of water, wait at least 1 minute for it to activate, stir again and then drink.
2) How to take it after taking it
After the antibiotic therapy, continue taking 1 sachet once daily preferably for another 14 days.
