[Synopsis]
Shoya Ishida, a sixth-grader who used to be a bully, develops an innocent curiosity about a new transfer student, Nishimiya Shoko.
Unable to express their feelings, the two drift apart and fail to understand each other. One day, Shoko transfers schools.
Five years later, the two have grown into high school students in different locations. Since that day, Shoya has been harboring feelings he wants to share, and so he visits Shoko.
Reunited, the two go to see their classmates, whom they had been keeping their distance from until now. Time, which had been standing still, slowly begins to move again, and their worlds seem to be changing, but...
