TP-Link SG3428 Switch 24xGE 4xSFP

TP-Link SG3428 Switch 24xGE 4xSFPTP-Link SG3428 Switch 24xGE 4xSFPTP-Link SG3428 Switch 24xGE 4xSFPTP-Link SG3428 is a managed Gigabit switch designed for building and expanding wired network infrastructure in small to medium business environments. It combines 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports with 4 SFP slots, providing a flexible mix of copper and fiber connectivity for different deployment needs.

This switch is suitable for office networks, branch connections, workgroup segmentation, and other scenarios where stable wired performance and central network control are important.. It can be used to connect computers, printers, access points, IP phones, surveillance equipment, and uplink devices within a structured network.

One of its key advantages is support for centralized management in the Omada SDN ecosystem, which makes it easier to configure and monitor network devices from a single platform. This helps simplify administration in environments with multiple switches, access points, and gateways, while keeping network settings more consistent across the installation.

The SG3428 includes features commonly used in business networking, such as VLAN support, QoS, IGMP Snooping, link aggregation, and access control options. These functions help organize traffic, prioritize important data, and improve the way network resources are distributed across connected devices.

Its rack-mountable design and metal housing are intended for professional installations where equipment is expected to run continuously. The combination of Gigabit RJ45 ports and SFP uplinks also gives more flexibility when building longer-distance connections or connecting different network segments.

Designed for reliable everyday operation, the switch is appropriate for networks that require stable performance over time and straightforward expansion options. It offers a practical foundation for wired connectivity in environments where organized traffic handling and durable hardware matter.

Thanks to this, audio and video transmission is smooth, clear, and without delays.Security: Network Security Functions of the switch, such as: IP-MAC-Port binding, port security, Storm Control, DHCP Snooping protect against many network attacks. Use of access control lists (ACL, from L2 to L4) prevents access to specific network resources; packet transmission refusal can be set for specific source or destination MAC addresses, IP addresses, TCP/UDP ports, and even VLAN IDs. Furthermore, the switch uses 802.1X encryption in conjunction with RADIUS/Tacacs+ server features to authenticate users wishing to access the network.Management, monitoring, configuration: Management and flexibility at the business level TL-SG3428 is simple to operate and manage. Device management can be done in various ways, e.g.. through an intuitive graphical user interface in a web browser (GUI) or command-line interface (CLI). Packet transfer can be protected by SSL or SSH encryption. SNMP Protocol Support (v1/v2c/v3) and RMON enables the switch to forward important status information and capture unexpected events. The IGMP snooping function enables intelligent forwarding of multicast streams only to specific subscribers, and the IGMP throttling and IGMP filtering functions effectively limit access to multicast streams for unauthorized users.. TL-SG3428 also supports static routing, which allows for network segmentation and increased performance.L3 features: 16 IPv4/IPv6 interfaces, Static routing, 48 static routes, Static ARP, 316 ARP entries, Proxy ARP, Gratuitous ARP, DHCP Server, DHCP Relay, DHCP L2 RelayOther functions: Features for service providers IPv6 Support The TL-SG3428 is the ideal solution for Internet service providers due to the availability of the following features: QinQ, L2TP, ID Insertion PPPoE, IGMP authentication and many more. 802.3ah OAM Functions and Device Connectivity Detection Protocol (DLDP) enable easier network supervision and management., TL-SG3428 supports many IPv6 features such as IPv4/IPv6 Dual Stack, MLD Snooping, IPv6 ACL, DHCPv6 Snooping, IPv6 Interface, PMTU Discovery, and IPv6 Neighbor Discovery.Chassis type: RackFan : NoPower supply : Internal Accessories included: Switch TL-SG3428, Power cord, Quick Installation Guide, Mounting elements, Rubber feetPower supply: 100-240 V AC~50/60 HzDimensions: 440 × 180 × 44 mm, (17.3 × 7.1 × 1.7 inches)Other features: Work environment Certificates Operating temperature range: 045 (32113 );, Permissible storage temperature: -4070 (-40158 ), Permissible air humidity: 1090% RH without condensation, Permissible storage humidity: 590% RH non-condensing, CE, FCC, RoHSSEAN: 6935364010713Manufacturer: TP-LINK212.88TP-LINK
