This product models the E16 + E66 formations belonging to the Koromatsu Vehicle Center. Accurately reproduces the features of JR East Japan and Niitsu Vehicle Manufacturing Plant bodies, including the differences in the roof ridges (wavy protrusions) (excluding Green Cars). Headlights, taillights, and front display signs light up on each leading car. Cars 10 (KuhE233-3016) and 11 (KuhE232-3516) are equipped with switchable lighting. The front connection parts of cars 1 and 15 use dummy couplers, while cars 10 and 11 feature KATO close-coupling (hookless) couplers, with included electrical connectors. Additionally, one coupler and one electrical connector are included for connecting with previous products. The intermediate connection sections are equipped with body-mounted KATO close-coupling (hookless) couplers, providing realistic coupling surfaces and smooth operation. Destination display signs are pre-printed. An extra front display sign reading "Local/Ueno Tokyo Line Utsunomiya Line Direct" is included. A slotless motor is used to ensure smooth and quiet operation.
