Dekotora are trucks with flashy decorations, often adorned with glittering stainless steel and electric lights. The trend is said to have originated in the Tohoku region, where fishery transport trucks began attaching stainless steel plates to prevent rust caused by de-icing agents, and the practice spread throughout Japan. Even those who don't particularly like decorating their trucks often use chrome parts in key areas to customize them. Trucks with subtly added chrome parts look stylish and sophisticated. This product is made of chrome-plated ABS resin and simply attaches with screws, making it easy to install for anyone who enjoys DIY. Producing products by creating molds and pouring molten ABS resin into them is more efficient and results in more consistent quality than processing stainless steel sheets. Since the ABS resin is plated, it is lightweight and resistant to rust. The sides of a truck are an important area where decoration can make a big difference, so we recommend the chrome step skirt high type left and right set as a first step to easily decorate your truck. *There may be individual differences depending on the vehicle, so some modifications may be required for installation.
