This new title lets you enjoy songs sung by the divas from the "Azure Striker Gunvolt" series: Morpho (sung by Megumi Sakuragawa), RoRo (sung by Mayu Mineta), and Luxia (sung by Riko Sasaki), the "Cyber Diva." The physical package version comes pre-installed with 15 songs included in the digital download version, plus 20 songs that will be released sequentially as DLC (4 songs each x 5 types), for a total of 35 songs to enjoy from release day. Players control two cursors to dance, hitting incoming notes in rhythm and aiming for a high score. The movements using the two sticks can synchronize with the 3DCG dancing characters, allowing you to enjoy a rhythm game that feels like you're dancing with the sticks.
The notes that flow down from the top of the screen include "tap notes" and "hold notes" which require pressing a button, and "flick notes" and "slide notes" which require using a cursor. The flicking motion, which can be performed in eight directions (up, down, left, right, and diagonally), and the arc-shaped slide motion, make good use of the joystick controls, and when you execute them well, you'll feel like you're dancing along with the Morpho's choreography. In addition to controller controls, this game can also be enjoyed using touch controls on the Nintendo Switch version.
This device features a sound player that allows you to listen to 35 carefully selected songs in their entirety, including music used in the "Azure Striker Gunvolt" series games, as well as songs from fan discs (CDs) and OVAs. It also includes repeat and playlist creation functions, allowing you to create your own favorite playlists.
In addition to the "Cyber Diva" Morpho and RoRo, the "Cyber Gene" Luxia, three divas appear with cute motions and full voice acting. Even if you make too many mistakes and get a game over, the divas will use Song of Diva to bring you back to play, so there is a support function that allows anyone to play the song to the end.
In addition to playing with the divas' music videos as the background, you can also play with gameplay footage from the "Azure Striker Gunvolt" series as the background. The gameplay footage changes depending on the song, so fans of the series can enjoy reliving the experience, while those unfamiliar with the series can get a glimpse of the works featuring the divas.
