[Tips on how to wear them]
When wearing geta sandals, leave some space between your big toe and index finger, and wear them shallowly so that your heel sticks out a little. This will help prevent the thong from hurting the space between your toes. When walking, the key is to be conscious of shifting your weight forward.
[Tips for choosing the right size]
Traditionally, the common way to wear geta sandals is to leave a small portion of your heel exposed.
The size is just right; my heels don't hurt when I wear them.
If you plan to use them as sandals or prefer a more secure fit around your heel, we recommend ordering one size up.

Wearing them with the heel slightly overhanging is the traditional, common way to wear these sandals. If you prefer a looser fit, we recommend choosing one size up. When wearing setta (traditional sandals), leave some space between your big toe and second toe, and wear them shallow enough that your heel slightly overhangs — this helps prevent the thong strap from causing pain between your toes. The key when walking is to consciously keep your weight centered toward the front of your foot.
