Thanks to the omnidirectional microphone capsule, it can capture clear, high-quality stereo sound from any direction. Includes a windscreen to reduce wind noise. The small size of the microphone body makes it easy to carry and attach to clothing such as collars or chest areas without being conspicuous, and its black color helps it blend in. The 360-degree rotating clip allows flexible attachment to items like ties, maintaining a constant distance from the sound source even if the subject moves, ensuring reliable audio capture. Since it uses plug-in power, it can be powered through the microphone terminal when connected to compatible devices, eliminating the need for batteries.

When connected to a camera equipped with a multi-interface (MI) shoe that supports digital audio interface (※1), the ECM-W2BT receiver can transmit digitized audio directly to the camera without a cable, enabling low-noise, low-latency, high-quality recording. The new high-quality omnidirectional microphone capsule captures clear sound from all directions. The robust wireless connection between the microphone and receiver ensures stable operation in various environments. In open areas, communication is possible up to 200 meters (※2). Additionally, it features Qualcomm aptX Low Latency codec (※3) for high sound quality and low latency.
