Late model cars rely on a computer to operate. If the computer loses power, the settings will be lost. This means that the vehicle may feel different while driving and you may need to enter a security code to get into the stereo system. Memory saver will help you stop these problems.
The device can be used with any 12V DC power supply, including jump starters, DC 12V sealed batteries, or other automotive DC 12V power sockets. Retain vehicle codes and electronic presets.
OBD metal pins are gold plated for more reliable connection and electrical transmission. The cable is 10ft/3meter extra long. This way, when you don't have a jump starter on hand, you can replace the car battery or get an alternative 12V power supply from another car.
8 amp overload protection is built into the memory saver for more reliable overload safety. Powered by any jump starter with a 12V socket into the OBD II memory saver. Interface connector between the 12V DC power supply and the vehicle OBD II port.
OBD2 memory saver is a convenient way to simply plug the cigar lighter plug into this car and insert the 16 pin plug into the OBD port of the car where you want to replace the battery.

Replacing a car battery on an older vehicle used to be simple. You unhooked the old battery and then installed the new one. However, newer cars rely on a computer to run everything from the stereo to the transmission. If the computer loses power, the settings will be lost and must be reset to the default settings. This means that the vehicle may feel different while driving and you may need to enter a security code to get into the stereo system. Using this simple memory saving device when replacing your car battery will help you stop these problems.
The device can work with any 12V DC power supply, including jumper starters, 12V DC sealed batteries, or 12V DC power sockets in other cars.
As our 3 meter cable unit, this is a handy way if you don't have a jumper starter (or sealed battery) on hand, and the unit also gets 12V power from another good car's cigar lighter. Simply plug the cigar lighter plug into this car, then plug the 16 pin plug into the OBD port of the car where the battery is to be replaced. Now you can replace the battery.
As a typical OBD automatic memory guard, there is no guarding on incorrect polarity (AIP), so if the wrong polarity power supply is entered, it may damage your car ECU (Electronic Control Unit). For our new upgraded version of OBD automatic memory saver, it adds the safety function of AIP; if the input power polarity is incorrect, the AIP function will automatically take effect (if the input power polarity is incorrect, the power cannot be transferred to your car); likewise, the led indicator on the memory guard will not light up. This way, your car's ECU and other electrical equipment are adequately guarded during the wrong power connection.
