Do you have areas in your room where many cables, such as power strips and AC adapters, are scattered around? Cables tend to get scattered around TVs and desks. Let's store all those messy cables together in one place. This cable box is made of wood-grain printed plywood that blends in with the atmosphere of your room. It has a much smarter texture than cheap-looking plastic or bulky, clunky-looking wood. This storage box is especially recommended for places where you prioritize interior design, such as storing power outlets next to your TV or cables near furniture. A narrow window is provided on the front of the main body, allowing you to operate switches even when storing power strips with switches. It's convenient because you can operate it without removing the cover when you want to turn it on or off for power saving purposes. The back of the unit has a mechanism where the insertion plate slides up and down. Cables can be routed through either the left or right window. The top panel has a small window for routing cables, allowing you to use the top panel as a charging space for smartphones and other devices. This cable box is designed not only with aesthetics in mind, but also with ease of use and convenience in mind, making it a design that easily blends into various rooms.
■Message from the Producer: We, Hashimoto Tatsunosuke Kogeisha, manufacture and supply lifestyle goods utilizing lacquerware techniques in Kishu Wakayama. TATSU-CRAFT is one of Hashimoto Tatsunosuke Kogeisha's lifestyle goods brands. [Thoughts of the Maker] "The technique and beauty of lacquering" that colors everyday life. While inheriting the beauty of traditional lacquerware, we are always aiming for new "forms" of lacquer art. Taking the traditional art of lacquerware, known as "nurimono," and not limiting itself to a strictly "Japanese" aesthetic, we view it as a technique that "gives rich individuality" to everyday objects, creating lacquered products with diverse expressions that are closely integrated into daily life.
The Basque series is produced in a factory in Wakayama, a region known for its Kishu lacquerware, a renowned center of lacquerware production in Japan. Each piece is handcrafted by artisans at Hashimoto Tatsunosuke Kogeisha, who have extensive experience in wooden lacquerware. This cable box not only helps to declutter your room but also serves as a dust cover for power cords and wiring. It also possesses an aesthetic appeal that stylishly enhances the area around electrical appliances. Cleaning is a breeze—simply wipe the box clean. The stylish wood grain pattern, which evokes a gentle warmth that soothes the soul, matches any room.
