A compact and lightweight standard zoom lens compatible with full-frame cameras, covering a frequently used focal length range from 28mm to 70mm. It is suitable for various scenes such as landscapes, portraits, and snapshots. When combined with the α9 III, it supports high-speed continuous shooting at approximately 120 frames per second, and maximizes the performance of the α7 V's AF/AE tracking at up to 30 frames per second. It also supports the camera's in-body image stabilization feature 'Active Mode' and coordinated control of image stabilization to effectively reduce camera shake during both video and still photography. Additionally, it is compatible with the camera's Breathing Compensation feature, which corrects the phenomenon where the angle of view changes depending on the focus position during video recording. *1. When using the electronic shutter, measured internally by Sony. Continuous shooting speed may be slower depending on shooting conditions.
