The Player II Precision Bass® exudes Fender's timeless appeal while being designed for modern players. The neck features a modern "C" shape with a silky satin urethane finish, and the 9.5-inch radius slab rosewood or maple fingerboard with carefully rolled edges and 20 medium jumbo frets provides comfortable playability along the entire neck.

The Player II Jazzmaster® uses an alder body, a classic tonewood, and offers a wide range of color options, including traditional Fender finishes, colors from Fender's archive, and new finishes introduced for the first time in this series. The Player Series Alnico V Split-Coil P Bass® pickup delivers warm high-end, throbbing midrange, and powerful low-end. A 3-way weight switch allows for versatile sound shaping. The 4-saddle steel saddle bridge with open-gear tuning machines ensures tuning stability and flexibility to pursue endless sound possibilities.
