Gamagori city flourished as part of Mikawa Province during the Edo period through cotton cultivation, and from the Meiji period onwards, it combined Western techniques to create the brands "Mikawa cotton" and "Mikawa stripes." Six-ply gauze made from Mikawa cotton, which has been spun by skilled craftsmen to this day while inheriting traditional techniques, is soft and fluffy, and feels very comfortable against the skin. Furthermore, because it is something that children will wear, it is best to choose a product made in Japan, which offers peace of mind and reliability.
