Product Introduction

The Takanami-class destroyer is a fourth-generation general-purpose destroyer, built as an improved version of the previous Murasame-class. Boasting high capabilities, it serves as the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's flagship. The "DD-110 Takanami" is the lead ship of this class, commissioned in 2003 and currently based in Yokosuka. It has also deployed overseas to the Indian Ocean and off the coast of Somalia. The Sugashima-class minesweeper is a medium-sized minesweeper built as an improved version of the Uwajima-class. Its mission is to eliminate mines laid in Japan's surrounding waters and protect maritime traffic. The kit features a newly molded bottom section. It also includes a decal of the current helicopter landing markings, which are now all-white. Available as a surface or full-hull model.
