The AMUMU SP30WN Magnetic Soundhole Pickup is crafted to deliver high-fidelity acoustic sound for steel-string guitars. Featuring a custom-designed neodymium magnet, oxygen-free copper hand-wound single coil, and walnut housing, this pickup captures your guitar's natural resonance with exceptional clarity and balance. Its high-impedance passive design eliminates the need for a jack—just plug and play. A specially customized lossless audio cable ensures nearly 99% signal transmission, preserving your instrument's tone. Whether performing live or recording, the SP30WN delivers a seamless, professional-quality sonic experience. Note: The SP30WN/SP31WN is a magnetic pickup designed specifically for steel-string acoustic guitars and will not work with nylon-string instruments. It fits snugly into soundholes with diameters ranging from 3.82 inches (97 mm) to 4.33 inches (110 mm). This pickup is not compatible with 3/4-inch guitars, such as the Taylor Baby and Little Martin series.
Not compatible. - As a passive pickup, it will only produce normal volume levels when used with a guitar amplifier that has a built-in preamp. For best performance, the AMUMU SP30WN/SP31WN should be played through a full-range system using a direct box and sending the signal directly to a mixing board. We recommend the AMUMU GLORIFIER D.I. PREAMP. If using an amplifier, it must be a full-frequency guitar amplifier designed for acoustic guitar. - Single-coil pickups are sensitive to 50-60Hz hum, so it's important to keep them away from sources of interference such as fluorescent lights, dimmer packs, computer monitors, and transformers. - For optimal sound quality, avoid pointing the guitar's soundhole directly at the amplifier.
