This product is a voltage-sensing relay switch (VSR) for boats equipped with a main battery and a sub-battery. When the engine is running, it automatically connects the two batteries using alternator power generation to control charging. When the engine is stopped, it isolates the connection, ensuring power is supplied to the main battery, ensuring reliable engine restarts.
・When the main battery voltage is 12.8V or higher, charging of both the main and sub-batteries begins.
・When the main battery voltage falls below 12.8V, charging of the sub-battery automatically stops.
・When the engine is not running, the two batteries are isolated to prevent battery discharge.
・Compared to conventional battery isolators, there is no voltage drop.
・Features a robust glass-fiber-reinforced nylon enclosure.
・Built-in LED indicator. (Lights up when the isolator is running.)
