It achieves a power density level of 882W without increasing the size, unmatched by any of the highest-powered SFX or ATX PSUs ever released. This increase in power density is achieved through more advanced technology and component selection, without the increased noise that often accompanies increased wattage output in a power supply, with the SX700-PT keeping noise levels comparable to lower wattage models thanks to the use of a 92mm FDB fan. In terms of connectivity, the SX700-PT features SilverStone's renowned short flexible flat cable and a variety of connectors that allow for a wide range of system configurations.
