[Sybilla] This leather is produced by TEMPESTI, a vegetable-tanned leather tannery located in Ponte a Egola, Santa Croce district, Tuscany, Italy. It is made from the rawhide of adult cattle raised in the cold climates of Denmark and other Nordic countries, known for their premium leather. Scandinavian leather is characterized by its fine texture and high oil content, combining excellent durability with a beautiful appearance. In consideration of environmental conservation, the leather is tanned using surplus wood from furniture and paper manufacturing. The addition of just the right amount of oils makes this leather lightweight, supple, and flexible, while retaining the firmness and firmness inherent to tanned leather for an appealing, exquisite texture.
It features a natural, transparent dyeing process that is typically difficult to replicate with tanned leather, allowing you to enjoy both its beautiful color and the leather's natural character. The white wax treatment adds a touch of lightness, softness, and vintage charm. The wax on the surface creates a unique texture, and as the wax rubs off and sinks into the leather with use, the leather ages to a translucent amber color, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful aging process. [Aftercare] Because the leather contains sufficient oils, simply wiping it dry with a dry towel will generally maintain its condition. Applying excessive cream or other products may remove the wax from the surface and damage the texture. [Caution] Because this leather is dyed solely with dyes, it is susceptible to aging with prolonged exposure to sunlight or lighting. Please take care when displaying or storing. In order to take advantage of the natural texture of leather, we use bag skin as is in our designs, but please note that there may be uneven coloring, fuzziness, or blood streaks due to the dyeing process.
