They made their major debut in 1989 under the name "X" and changed their name to the current "X JAPAN" in 1992.
They released many hit songs such as "Kurenai," "ENDLESS RAIN," "Tears," and "Forever Love," before disbanding in 1997. Since reuniting in 2007, they have been active mainly overseas.
